N.O.R.A.D. announces a new service to protect your critical computer data from disasters

SecureTrek is an Internet-based backup service that allows individuals, small and medium businesses to provide themselves with an easy to use and reliable backup service. It is an excellent disaster recovery alternative to expensive off-site services.

SecureTrek uses a simple program on your computer that allows you to control the files to be backed up and restored. Your data is transfered using 448-bit Blowfish encryption and compression. The compression algorithm is so efficient that you may use any type of Internet

connection including a modem and telephone line. Updates use a proprietary technique known as FastBit to minimize the daily transfer of data.

Scheduling allows you to setup automatic backups as often as you wish. No human intervention is required, thereby eliminating human error. Backups are kept for 30 days and are available for recovery at any time.

"WebRestore" allows you to restore any file from any computer that has Internet connection. This feature is an excellent way to obtain files while you are on the road or restore all your files if a disaster has prevented you from getting to your PC.

SecureTrek plans start as low as $10.00 per month for up to 250 MB of compressed data. Our compression techniques will actually backup a significantly larger amount of your files. Additional storage space is available in increments of 250 MB of storage for an addional $9.95 per month.
